“The MarinMOCA camp keeps her engaged . . . she comes home with a more vibrant
demeanor. Every child should have the chance to attend!”
-Parents of 2011 camper Nikita Park
July 9 – July 20, 2012
Ages 7-12
Each week students will produce their own, original artworks inspired by a famous artist. Students will learn about the inspiration artist through fun, interactive activities, and they will work together to develop their own interpretations of famous artworks. They will develop a deeper understanding of the inspiration artist by creating artworks in that artist's style, but each student will add his/her own unique take on the art making process and the subject matter. In the process, students learn about art making, art history, and themselves!
