Mixed Media Drawing

Friday, June 13; 2pm – 5pm

Instructor: Anjelica Colliard

Oakland artist Anjelica Colliard will introduce you to methodologies of mixed media drawing and guide you to explore making spontaneous drawings, playing with different media and building on the magic that comes from their interactions. You will create dynamic, vibrant, and fantastical scenes using soft and oil pastels, gouache, watercolor, ink, and crayon. Your works may be abstract tonal pieces or representational images – the choice is yours! All ages and experience levels are welcome.

You will:

- Be inspired to try mixing media in new ways

- Explore in a playful, curious, and intuitive way

- Come away with a new perspective on how to make a “drawing” and have fun learning
