Artmaking Using the ProCreate App for the iPad

Two Saturdays, September 13 & September 20; 11am – 2pm

Learn how to harness the power of the most popular digital drawing app to easily create art on the iPad. This two-class workshop is a primer on the basics of the ProCreate drawing app. During this workshop you will:
-Learn to use menus, gesture commands, brushes, layers, and create color palette libraries

- Easily save, export, and share your work on social media

- Receive handouts of resources and links, online tutorials and a ProCreate cheat sheet


Participants will bring:

- An iPad Pro with the ProCreate app installed

- An Apple Pencil.


Bill Russell is a multi-disciplinary artist whose creative life has included fine art, illustration, visual journalism, teaching, and web design. His work has been exhibited extensively, including Stanford University, SFMOMA, Artists Gallery, MarinMOCA, California College of the Arts, San Francisco, Sofie Contemporary, Calistoga, and Reactor Gallery, Toronto. His paintings are found in collections throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Russell earned his degree from Parsons School of Design in New York and served as an adjunct professor of Illustration at California College of the Arts. He has had artist residencies at Recology, San Francisco and the Kala Art Institute, Berkeley.
