Plein Air Watercolor
Four Wednesdays, September 3, 10, 17, 24; 2pm – 4pm
Instructor: Karen Rose
Create plein air watercolor paintings of plants and landscapes in the gardens of Falkirk and Boyd Park. The instructor will share her relevant work and demonstrate drawing and watercolor techniques.
You will warm up with “walk and draws” to sharpen your observation and mark-making skills. The instructor encourages students to learn by their own discovery and to embrace their own unique style of mark-making.
You will use a combination of watercolor, ink, and watercolor pencil on watercolor paper. All ages and levels of experience are welcome.
