Watercolor Collage with Decorative Papers
Sunday, February 22; 11am – 2pm
Instructor: Ilah Jarvis
In this workshop you will learn a variety of exciting watercolor techniques and create your own decorate papers in a multitude of colors, patterns and textures. The instructor will give a lesson in basic color theory, focusing on learning to compose with light and dark values.
You will cut up your decorative papers and combine them with magazine images and other art materials to make beautiful, original collages.
No previous art experience is necessary.
The instructor will provide all the supplies but you are encouraged to bring any additional materials that inspire you or are meaningful to you.
Ilah Jarvis has taught watercolor all over Northern California for over twenty years, including at Studio One and The Richmond Art Center.
