Let’s Make a Me Doll

Three Sundays, March 15, 22, 29; 11am to 2pm

Instructor: Ann Ledo-Lane

n this workshop designed for ages 6 – 12, children will explore and celebrate their identity, interests, and their emotions through art. They will create their own personalized art piece from start to finish, experiencing creative skill-building as they draw and paint on fabric and hand-sew their unique Me Doll.

Each artist will also create a mini zine to accompany their doll, sharing the story of who they are and what they care about.

In a fun and playful environment children will:

  • Learn to draw and paint on fabric

  • Learn basic hand-sewing skills

  • Create a personal zine

  • Bring their dolls to life with unique and personal details

There will be a break during the class so children are encouraged to bring their favorite snack and water.
