Carved Stamp Paper Art
Friday, March 27; 1pm to 4pm
Instructor: Katya McCulloch
IIn this workshop you will design and carve a personal stamp to create a beautiful composition with stamp pads, fine art papers, and drawing supplies.
You will develop and carve your stamp’s negative areas with linocut tools. We will discuss archival vs. recycled art materials and vendors to source supplies will be recommended. Your finished stamp will be the central element of a collaged, mixed-media artwork. Stamps are endlessly re-usable for other projects. Instructor will have available a variety of tools and materials to ensure fun, creative exploration.
