The Fragile Key is an exhibition exploring interconnected life, ecological balance, and the ethics of attention, presented in the context of the Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary.

The exhibition features new work by contemporary painter Tiffany Bozic, developed in partnership with MarinMOCA and the Audubon Center. Through large-scale acrylic-on-wood panel paintings and closely observed studies, the work examines relationships between species, ecosystems, and human perception. Each painting is grounded in careful observation and long-term engagement with the natural world, bringing scientific accuracy together with imaginative vision.

Rooted in Marin County’s wetlands, birdlife, and living systems, the works honor each species not as an isolated subject, but as part of a dynamic, interdependent web. Approximately 5–10 large-scale paintings will be installed within the Audubon Center, inviting visitors to slow down, look closely, and consider the fragile balances that sustain life locally and beyond.

The exhibition aligns with shared values of conservation, stewardship, and public education. Rather than presenting nature as spectacle, The Fragile Key emphasizes reciprocity—asking how attention, care, and ethical responsibility shape our relationship to the living world.
