Transform meaningful pieces of ephemera into beautiful keepsake charms. Resin charms are little metal frames that may be filled with tiny gems, bits of paper, beads . . . anything tiny!
Instructor Lara Starr brings plenty of supplies to make as many beautiful charms as you like. Students are also invited to bring their own meaningful bits and bobs, such as:
· an earring that has lost its mate
· a ticket stub
· fabric from a beloved piece of clothing
· a photo of a loved one
· petals from a tiny flower
Lara made her first charm at Maker Faire and was . . . charmed! Since that time, she has hosted events at College of Marin, recreation and community centers, and private homes. She has inspired many who believed that they were “not creative” and watched them be transformed from cautious to confident in the short space of a workshop.
