Discover the secret of color relationships and harmony, and the infinite possibilities in the beauty and magic of color. Remove the mystery of why certain colors work together and learn how value influences color and how color harmonies create movement. You will explore mood, movement, color key, and the concept of the color “envelope”. You will learn the 5 basic color schemes and how colors affect the perception of each other.

Through lectures and demonstrations, you will be introduced to color theory as it applies to painting, and how to use color relationships for personal expression. You will practice these theories in your own paintings and you will leave the workshop empowered to paint with confidence and knowledge.
