Mandalas are timeless expressions of insights and give a glimpse into the inner self. In this workshop you will connect to the unconscious and create your own personal mandala.
You will be introduced to the history of collage and mandalas, and you will learn the significance of the tools and materials you will be using. You will explore imagery as a means of self-discovery, and then begin planning, selecting images, and building your mandala from the center outward. Mandalas are created in stages, through a balance of flowing intuition and supportive structure. You will pause between stages to consider next choices, and the instructor will give individual attention as needed. Your completed mandala will be a point of reference for continuing reflection and meditation.
